I speak on behalf of the majority of posters on this forum. We implore the kidnappers who have taken Capn Marvel for the last 6 months to release him. His wit, intelligence and sheer commitment are sorely missed on this board, by all of us , particularly myself and WL. We will pay the ransom, as we can no longer push this wagon with only 3 wheels on it, we can no longer have one sided arguments with ourselves, we can no longer blindly agree with the Capn on his AP views, we can no longer drink alone at forum meets looking at his empty glass. Perhaps in the past we have annoyed him with flippant remarks that do not agree with his stance on things....but it was never personal....only in Toon spirit. I for instance have no axe to grind with AP, he is a restricted puppet. My beef is with Ashley.......all problems stem from him. But we should all be allowed our views, however misguided they may seem to others.
Anyhoo.....Come back Capn...we need you. |

Hey Cannyman sorry old bean just looked on here to find your post never intended to cop out just wish this site was more condensed!  As of this week im officially retired no going back im finished with work absolutely.  Ive noticed Pardew has suddenly had a brainstorming session with himself started looking and using the young instead of putting them out on loan or keeping the bench warm, im happy with the results recently long may they continue!! ATB    |

ATB Capt'n if you find it difficult to navigate around the place just click on the 'recent posts' option on the main page. It will then provide a list of posts from across the forum which you can read without having to move from section to section or thread to thread. The same goes for anyone else struggling to find stuff and by the way it's been there from day one. Lights Oot!  |
